Aloha young engineers!! - Well this is it! OUr last week. Lets finish strong. Great job on our year end National assessment. You all did fairly well considering where we got with the actual content. Thursday we will do a short design brief that will be fun (competition format). Remember Friday will be a onger design brief competition between advisories. yeah!! Next week will will be "invite" only. If you have a 60%-69% you will be asked to come join us to try and remedy your almost passing courses. Please work hard this week so you dont have to scramble on the last days of school. Great year this year.....

This week we will continue solving our design challenges: You will need to use the "Teamwork" outline to guide your creative process. Please remember to include all of the following components in your Design presentations and please remember to DAZZLE us with a true sales pitch. Lets have a great almost last week.

You guys will learn how to work as an efficient team as we introduce 4 new design briefs. You will be able to choose which "problem" you want to solve. - Remember groups norms and establish a "consensus". You will need to model all of you individual parts in inventor and create a potentially award winning presentation. We will have  a panel of judges to determing which design presentation wins. ALoha Gang. Train assembly is due!!!!! Tuesday 5/3 - I will be checking your completed assemblies at the beginning of class.... We will have time to work on our orthographic projections for the rest of the day on Tuesday - and most likely, - Thursday. Please use your class time wisely, as I am hoping to jump into another super fun and awesome design brief later in the week. Lets have a great week. Yeah...Engineering!!!

Aloha Engineers - You guys are doing an awesome job on our current design brief!! Thank you for completing your Key terms 2.3. Remember - if you did not have them in your portfolio - get them to me by Thursday 4/21 to get some credit. Great job on the key terms quiz. The class average (across the board) was 8 out of 10. Yeah!!! We will continue to work on creating individual train pieces. You should be working on creating your assembly by thursday 4/21. If you are not there yet...please come talk to me so we can get you caught up. Once you finish your assembly you should work on creating individual orthographic projections for each part. Remember to add accurate dimensions. Thursday will be a work day. I will do a temp check at the end of class to assess how much more time we may need. Keep up the awesome work guys!!!!
